World Record! Robot Solves Rubik’s Cube in 0.38 Second

Solving a Rubik’s Cube needs too much time but now there is an amazing robot that can solve it in .38 seconds. It means the robot is 1000 times faster than the human while solving Rubik’s Cube.

The Robot was created by Ben Katz and Jared Di Carlo.

The Robot, Having speed of less then half of a second (0.38 seconds) , made by using set of 6 ServoDisc motors and 2 Playstation Eye cameras.

 

It uses min2phase, a two phase algorithm which is a Rubik’s Cube solver or scrambler. This algorithm force the robot to crack the cube in about 21 moves.

It determine the fastest possible solution and then execute the solution to six motor-controlled arms.
